I just watched a documentary on the health benefits of eating primarily plant-based foods called "Forks Over Knives." It was so mind blowing that I almost immediately went and ate a banana which is shocking because I had never eaten or even tried a banana in my life, despite having worked at Dairy Queen in high school where I cut up hundreds of them for banana splits. I'm probably not going to completely become a vegetarian or a vegan any time soon, but I am definitely going to look into seriously cutting down on my meat intake and adding even more fruits and veggies into my diet.
