Agreeing to go on holiday with a bunch of people I don't know too well counts for me. It was challenging, and a personal risk, but one that paid off with a lovely holiday.

I always say no to going out in the "scary" ocean water farther than the shore line. This time, I said "yes"' and I went a bit out there. It was farther than I've been since I was a kid. And it was ok. It was actually kind of great!

A friend of mine called me this night and told that they could come visit me tomorrow for a haircut and -dye. A bit after 8 o'clock in the morning. Usually I would have told to come after my workday is over so I could have had my sleep, but now I surprised even myself and said OK :D
