Other notes for this Goal:
5-31-12

Walked Maisy, my border collie/shih tzu mix every day for the past month. I was tired of not following my own advice and denying my dog an essential activity to satisfy her needs as a dog.

During this month I also got to walk a stray we found who fought the leash for a good minute or two before deciding it wasn't half bad, a neighbor's dog who escaped from her yard and wanted to walk with us too, and now for the past week I've also been walking our new rescue dog (a currently unamed Cavalier King Charles Spaniel boy) who's never had a leash on him in his life but went from shutting down in the middle of the road to avoid being tugged to now he's pulling us!

Exercise. Decipline. THEN Affection. I never understood this, never liked this until now, and I've realized how true it really is. Our dogs need walks.

I'm striving to work myself up to an hour every morning but can only manage a 45 minute walk as I still get too tired. Buying some roller blades to try though!
