OK so what does it mean to have six months worth of emergency money....basically $5000 per month x 6 = 30,000 but guessing that I would not have the same expenditure issues like petrol, tolls and other work related expenses so the goal is $20,000

Added it all up and it would approx $4,000 to have six months of:
rent, electric, gas, water, trash, auto/motorcycle insurance & phone

9/20/2011: I have came up with the total of how much I need to save before the days are up. Now I'll soon be working on the budget to try to make it happen!
