When I got back from working in the USA for 4 months (1 month was purely for travelling), I got home and stayed there for a month. Then I decided to go back to Vilnius, the capital city of my country where I studied and lived for 4 years and start looking for a job. Now me and my sister live in an apartment, I have a job which pays enough to support myself finally. My parents don't have to give me money anymore and I'm really proud of that.
Just started seeing a social worker who specializes in financial planning for people with mental illness. She seems to be pretty positive about my financial outlook. It's going to be hard, but I'm hopeful!
This goal is a moving target depending on what spending level I'm comfortable with, but my best guess is a spending level of $1,800 per month and a 3.6% annual withdrawal rate. This means I need $600,000 in invested assets plus at least $22,000 in savings, for a total goal of $622,000.
Today I'm at around $200,000.
