It was interesting! There was lots to get used to at first: the tank doesn't really close completely so there's some light from outside which gets in until turned off by sensor after a few minutes. I got some of the saltwater in my eye and mouth early on which I don't recommend! Breathing in deeply felt weird because of the ear plugs. Once I settled into it, I would sometimes float gently around the pod, feeling the edge against one of my arms or legs. At other times I was still. It wasn't claustrophobic at all because the lid was quite high. I can't say I experienced an epiphany, but it was pretty cool. By the end it didn't feel like it had been an hour. Unfortunately I was rushed a bit afterwards, washing all the saltwater out of my hair took time but I was the last one out (there were five pod rooms at the centre i went to) and the staff started knocking. I felt good afterward, not tired and not too high either. A few hours later I kind of crashed though and needed a rest. All in all I wouldn't rush to do it again, but it was a cool experience.
