20 years ago... really... almost to the day... I had been told that I could not go hunting ( it is not 1940!!!) and every year for many years the same thing, hmmm, to those that know me think of the arguments over that one. I had been invited a couple times to go on girl weekend hunting trips to Rice, MN and I always had to work or busy with kids so it did not work out. I went deer hunting in Wis this weekend with Steve James. The deer in the photo is not mine; It is Mark's 12 Mile buck. While I sat there freezing; I thought that this was for the birds and being this cold is just insane not to mention the patience that goes with sitting all day until sunset in the woods is not for me. Remember: Do not drink that 3rd cup of coffee; trust me. However; back at home... I think I will go back, already think of Kurt Ochs gun classes and maybe one day go with Jason Peterson too. Might not be next year; or even in 3 but one day... when I have electric socks. (less)
