Carlos used bonus to pay it off in April 2023.
Yeah!!!!! Done! I'm not sure how it FINALY happend, but I finished it in July. At last!
One down, one to go...
It's June, and I'm taking a sort of inventory, and really... haven't been progressing much on most goals... Except for this one. I'm been slow but steady... And slow and steady wins the race, right? So I went and look... And... I'm halfway down. Or halfway through.. Or... Halfway, anyway. I have to go as much I've gone so far. I have gone as far as I have yet to go! Anyway! Yay!
Paid off in February 2020!!!!
I know I’m not going to pay off my $20,000+ student loan debt this year but I know a good portion of it will be paid off this year.
In July of 2014, my loan amount was $17,885.11.

Since then, I've gone back to school for a master's degree in Marketing Research. That loan total ran me another $28,300 or so. Totaling that up (and removing about $800 in assumed payments over the two years before heading back to uni) is about $45,385.

Since then, I've gotten a pretty good job. Anthony and I have made plans to have me debt-free by the time I'm 30, though both my loans are estimating that I shouldn't be done til I'm about 37-40 years old.

As it stands now, on Aug 17, 2019, I've got $22,886.86 left to pay off. Since I graduated grad school in 2017, that means we've made a strong dent of about 22,498 (half of my debt!). We're going to keep trucking of course.

Undergraduate loans paid off!
Graduate school loan paid off! And should have the two undergraduate loans paid off by February 2017!
I started at $34k when I graduated in May 2013. It's been 3 years and I've only paid $20k (granted that's way more than most, but still not acceptable to me!). I am at $14k now and have made a plan to pay it all off in 13 months (actually including my AMEX card).
Save $1500 each month for a total of 2 years = $36,000

From February 2015-February 2017 (2 years in total)
Last student loan debt paid in full! 11/5/14. Only took me 8.5 years on a low income budget!
It's going to take a while. But paying a little off each month!
Paid off on 9 August 2014. WOOT!
Pay off student loan from teaching license
Made my final payment on 1/18/2014!!! Glad to have it gone!
Since we're working towards buying a house together, Mark and I decided that it would be more important for me to continue to save money than to pay down my student loan balance. Placing this goal on hold. Will re-evaluate next year.
As of 8/3/13 is $5762.57.
Estimated repayment is 10/14/14
I really want to push to try to pay this thing off as soon as possible. I've been putting in more than the minimum payment each month and I've decided to try to increase it again.

Current balance as of 3/3/13 is $6912.68.

Making payments each month, down from 3000 to 300.
Hmmm, undergraduate school loan balance is larger than I thought. Calculated payoff amounts based on payoff date.
Never thought I'd see the day!
hahaha well, lets face facts. Thats never going to happen. As of this month, I start paying it off. I'm happy paying a bit each month
18th Jan '12 - Will need to call them to get a log in so I can start paying it off. Only £4036.15 and rising :(
All $4000.00 paid off by Fall 2012.
