Everything is here and all in its proper places. For anyone looking to do this, I recommend looking at the Red Cross's kits, and if they're too $$ for you (they were for me), assembling the items you see there. We bought the kit at Home Depot, which was more affordable, and supplemented it with things that were in the Red Cross kit but not the Home Depot one, including things like scissors and crank flashlight/lantern. We also added more MREs and water, LifeStraws, a screwdriver set, and more first aid supplies (not pictured). All that coupled with the things that are usually in our house, and I think we're well prepared. I think I want to stock up a bit more on the canned water, but it's SO expensive, so I'll just add more here and there, I guess.
Our kit itself is good for five years, at which point we'll need to refresh/restock.
