Ok, so here we all are, ready with our notes inside the balloons (my mum gave it as a good suggestion to keep our wishes dry - genius!) we went outside and let them go, only for them to drop like lead balloons! We were going to wait for another day, but little man popped them all! So, on discussion with others, we decided that it would be more environmentally friendly in the long run to burn our wishes, instead of letting go of balloons that get caught up in rivers, that birds can choke on! (I had never thought of that before!) We placed out little pieces of paper onto our old bbq and after lighting about half a box of matches, our wishes finally lit and floated away in the smoke :-) (less) (less)
