This is an author whose last book of short stories I also adored-- very dark, strange, surreal, bizarre. I love doing short story collections because they're so easy to pick up and put down on busy days.
Chão em Chamas - Juan Rulfo
I actually read a ton of short story anthologies-- I love being able to pick them up and put them down easily. For this one I chose a book I've been excited for for ages and finally found at a branch of my local library. It really reminded me of growing up reading Bruce Coville's horror anthologies for kids, one of my favorite reading memories.
Stephanie Perkins: My True Love Gave to Me
Uncommon Type by Tom Hanks
I'm counting "The Red Garden" by Alice Hoffman.
Swords and Deviltry, Fritz Leiber
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - Arthur Conan Doyle
70 historinhas - Carlos Drummond de Andrade.
Full Dark, No Stars - Stephen King
My friend gave me the book Best Contemporary Mexican Fiction for my birthday.
Paulo Coellho - Jako řeka jež plyne
To hold the bridge- Garth Nix
Les Contes de ma mère l'Oye, Charles Perrault
R Is For Rocket, by Ray Bradbury.
