Boundary Peak (Nevada)
Boundary Peak is the highest summit in U. S. state of Nevada and is located in Esmeralda County. It is the northernmost peak over 13,000 feet (4,000 m) in the White Mountains. At 13,147 feet (4,007 m) the peak is within the state of Nevada, although it is only about half a mile (1 km) from the California border. Montgomery Peak at 13,441 feet (4,097 m) is located just across the border in California, and by most definitions Boundary Peak is a sub-peak of Montgomery Peak.
