I just made this concoction--peppermint tea/sleepytime tea, one bag each and two cups of water. I then fille da mug up half way with the tea. Then the other half with almond milk and orange juice, then I blended it. It was delicioius. I went out and bought a huge 16 ounce mug.
Came home and added another tea bag to the two and the remining water, added more water. Made the tea then added only a dash of almond milk and orange juice. That was pretty good but not as good when the tea is not so strong and I have one half tea and the other half almond milk and orange juice.
In any case I will continue to work with and perfect this recipe. It's better than hot chocolate, which I have not had in years. The only kind of hot chocolate I want is from Dunkin Donuts as I don't like that packaged stuff.
I can see myself possibly getting that healthy replacement for chocolate, cao cao (?) or something to put into the tea tho to flavor it a bit. I can also just use unsweetened almond milk, boil it and put the tea bags in there and then blend that. Then add my splash of orange juice. YUMMMY.
