3. Scarborough

Sadly we didn't have a lot of time to spend at Scarborough, we only went to the castle. But we're planning on coming back in the future to see what the town has to offer.

This is a statue of The Gansey Girl. Fishermen would have ganseys knitted for them to keep them warm from the elements while out at sea, and the patterns were unique to the families that knitted them.
