PROGRESS UPDATE
A goal of Emily Blackburn on their 101 Things in 1001 Days list with a status of Done.
I can order beer, say hello to people, vaguely navigate public transport, ask for help, complete basic transactions in shops, and so on. However as I am no longer in Slovakia I'm not going to devote much more of my time to learning the language. So I'm marking it as done but, you know, I am not fluent or anything.
