I edited this goal a little and we went to a smaller shire show rather than the Ekka. Still expensive but much more affordable and less crowded and hectic - important with little kids.

Our 3 iconic show things: 1- fed the baby farm animals 2- looked at the art, craft, woodworking, horticulture exhibits 3- bought show bags (Bertie Beetle forever!!!)
Bonus ones- we also ate a Dagwood dog and watched horse show jumping.
