PROGRESS UPDATE

I'll probably only come back here every day as a challenge. Now I'm here a few times a month since I have my habit list.
I was here today going over this list "List 10 things you want from current job and pray over those things" before work.🙏🏿

Since I have my daily habit list on Habitify, I will be visiting here when I am working on one of the goals or at the very least once a month.
I now have two daily lists--Simpleology and Habitify. So I put them up side by side, then my google calendar and it just seemed right to put this beside it. And since I had it opened up, I looked over the list. My habit is to read over this list once a month. Then I was like awwww I won't get credit for this, but then I remembered my habit Luxuriate in your Lists💃🏿 and if I had Luxoriated over another list, I could have just crossed this off for tomorrow. YASSS.

I have been working with my Habits, I am behind right now, but in the last month, I'd say I only didn't look at the list at all, maybe for one day.
What I want to do is to record some of the things I do on there as accomplishments and goals reached here. I finally categorized my habits a few days ago and I marked that down as a "Done" goal on here. (less) (less)

I have been coming here to Dayzero every day looking at my 10 Things I want in my job list, but I don't always write a note. I just earned a badge for posting every month. That will be my goal from now on. I will make it a point to post at least once a month. In fact. I will put that on my Habit list on Habitify. (less) (less)

I came back a day later today to test the experiment I tried yesterday or the day before. I accidentally posted the same post four times. I wanted to delete three of the posts, but did not see a way to do it.
Then i posted again and noticed something interesting. When I initially post and hit submit, the post is able to be edited/deleted. And I noticed that the URL had a number. So I just subtracted one and lo and behold the last post I did came up, then I kept subtracting one until I was able to delete all of the duplicate posts. This probably makes NO sense whatsoever. But I'm glad I discovered how to always have the ability to delete or edit what I write here. YAY!. And I need to know this just in case I write something and I'm horrified about it later. I want to be able to delete/and or edit posts.

I just realized something real important--after 2 years on this DayZero, you can't easily delete notes. I accidentally posted the same note 4 times under a goal. It was a new goal, so I deleted the goal thinking the notes would go too. They didn't.
Here's how I was able to delete the duplicate notes. I posted a new note, saw the URL, then went back to it and subtracted one from the end number, that took me to the last note I posted prior to the current one. Then I did the same thing four times until all of the notes were deleted. But if I wanted to delete something from last year, I'd be out of luck. Even if I delete the entire goal, the notes will remain. Yikes
So here is the fix. I will always copy and past the URL to the editable note every time I post. Here it is for this one. Just in case I want to change something or delete later.

I just realized something very important. It *matters* where you add your note in order for it to show up under the goal. I kept writing notes for another goal about attending three concerts. As I updated, the notes would show up in my note log, but not under the Goal, tho it was tagged under the goal.
I have to be careful from now on as I want to be able to see all of my entries under each goal. (less) (less)

June 22 9:00 am. I am going back to using Day Zero as a bucket list again. For close to two years I used it to track my habits, but there was no phone app. I switched to Habitify for $19.99 a year. I can also take notes on goals, BUT I can't see all of my notes. So if I archive a goal, I archive the notes too. (less) (less)

Wow, I haven't created a note here in a week! What?! I hope that doesn't mean (but it probably does) that I haven't looked at the list either.
That's okay. On 43things I had a goal to have 52 notes a year. Just to make sure I visited once a week at least.

I deleted this goal "Spend a day exploring and photographing my neighborhood" and put it under "Likes" tagging it as "Interesting." Then I panicked when I went to my likes and it wasn't at the beginning or end of the list. I'm not sure if they put the "likes" in order, but it was there. Whew!
Okay, I just discovered something. I *really* want to keep this list to 43 things in the spirit of my favorite site of all time. I just tool "Create a personal mission statement for myself" off the list. I "Liked" it instead and tagged it as "motivating."
In the future I have to be careful as if I take something off of the list, it deletes all notes, photos, etc. So I'm going to take stuff off of the list now that I may not get to in the forseeable future. Should I need to make a note about a goal that is in the likes, I'll just do so under this "Visit Day Zero every day goal. And if I need to make a note, maybe that is a sign I should put it on this list. (less) (less) (less)

One thing I have to remember is to add a goal to every note. I notice I made a note for my succulent garden goal, but forgot to make the note under the goal.
I don't think I've been here every day. I think with 43things, I was happy if I visited at least once a week. Sometimes I'd be on the site several times in one day. Other times I know a month would go by btw logins. As long as made at least 52 journal entries a year I was good.
I do want to come here every day initially and then at least twice a week once I'm back in the groove again. (less) (less)

Since it happened to me twice with both 43things AND popclogs, I *really* don't want to lose all of the information, goals, epiphanies etc, I'm creating here on DayZero.
I'm *definitely* going to visit a few times a week just in case something happens and I can be there to have the information sent to me. I think I was too late with popclogs, but Thank God I have my 43things stuff on my old computer. That was the list I loved the most and really worked hard on and depended on. (less) (less)

It's 12 noon and who knows how long I've been on Day Zero getting acquainted.
I knew I wasn't going to like the BucketList.org site when I couldn't find anyone else who had a goal of "Go to the Doctors" I want this list to have the small and big things and I want them all on one list. I want it to be fun with no pressure like those other sites with deadlines attached, but you can attach a deadline if you want and create multiple lists.
I didn't like when I first signed on they gave you three lists, one was 100 things in the next 1001 days or something like that. I deleted that list so I only have 2 lists "Someday" and "Done". Then I like how DayZero gives you the option to "like" and tag goals too.
This is very interesting as I can see what categories of goals like.
This is going to be my new home while I'm meeting my writing goals b/4 I can get on twitter.
Oh, let me make Twitter another goal. (less) (less) (less)

YASSSSS!!!! I thought I had to go into the goals in order to see the notes. Whew there is a tab for notes, so that is probably where I'll spend most of my time under the note tab.
I don't like how the site has a check mark next to unfinished goals which turns green when you complete it. I do not like that, but at least I can easily write and see notes for each goal--or no goal at all, but I'll make sure I keep my thoughts organized under each goal. Also I don't think I'll be uploading pictures, they take up too much space, wish they were smaller.
I don't think you could add pictures to 43things--which BTW is my profile picture.

Okay, I think it was back in 2007 when I discovered 43things.com and it BROKE MY HEART when they closed it, I did (Thank God) visit at a time when they were able to send me everything. Seven years worth of work.
It was with a heavy heart that I went over to Popclogs. I created a list, but it wasn't the same. I was still grieving for 43things.
Then I found out, who knows when, that Popclogs was gone and all of the work I'd done there.
I didn't even care as I didn't work as hard and wasn't as serious as I was with 43things.
43Things was like a dear friend that Iost. 43things.com ended in 2015, so it's been six years. Time for me to get my list back up and running again.
I love that DayZero charges. I will PAY the $3 a month to see my list and to know it will be sent to me if anything goes wrong.
