I teach grade 4 at a local international school. I love to travel and while I have something of crafter's ADD, I mainly enjoy sewing/quilting and card-making/scrapbooking.

Massive clean out of closets and attic - 4 bags total sent off to Myrona!
Hosted a crayfish party in August - haven't done that in 3 years. Was a really fun night with Ingrid and Alice (Linda couldn't make it).
Weight loss is going great! Much of it is thanks to a new app I installed for my Android, "Noom". It includes the Calorific and Cardio Trainer apps (free) and has been a very easy and visual approach to monitor my eating (without weighing!) and exercise routines. It's made a huge difference in what I eat and getting some exercise on a daily basis. Love it!
I finished my autumn table runner! What's more, it's ready before autumn, so I'll be able to use it this year - yeah! I'm already envisioning it decorating the Thanksgiving table and now contemplating making some stripe pieced placemats to match...perhaps. Think I'll turn the leftover stripes into little pot holders.
I'm feeling quite accomplished after only one week.
I have six tasks on the go and have completed two smaller ones. If nothing else, I can at least say that I've oiled my patio furniture and only have the radiator left in the bedroom to paint and those in themselves are good accomplishments in their own rights.
I still have half of my list left to fill out but I'm not going to rush it, nor am I going to add frivilous stuff to fill the space (like many people on here seem to do). I want this to be a personal project for *me*, about *me* and I have about 2.5 years left to add to the list.
I've debated with myself whether to add things I've already done in the past to my done list. Part of me thinks it would be rather neat to see the cool things I've already done. Part of me thinks I should just keep it purely to my ongoing list. Hmmmm, thoughts?

Okay, so I've just stumbled upon the Day Zero project. I saw it mentioned in one of the Swap-bot forums by another member and got curious. It reminds me of that movie, Julie & Julia, where the character Julie decides to cook every recipe from Julia Child's cookbook in one year.
So far my list has 31 items on it; mostly crafting, travel and home improvement related. I have more travel plans to add but I haven't been able to narrow down my list - later this year I'm planning on going somewhere but haven't decided where yet - could be Austria or Russia at this point. Have a suggestion for a great trip - tell me!
