20-8-10 to Andrea in Germany, fully written in German on a 'Van Gogh selfportrait' postcard (needs explanation: she asked for postcards with either butterflies, hippos or art on it).
28-8-10: to Paula in Finland, fully written in Finnish (MG, it must be a miracle if she'd understand it!) on a 'Alkmaar citysights' postcard (she wanted streetviews, markets etc).
28-8-10 to Sandra in Spain, fully written in Spanish (exact same hope like I have for the Finnish written one) on a 'Waagtoren' postcard (Looks like somebody bought a cheap package of city postcards...). She wanted a special building/monument in the city. Well suited!
2-9-10 to Anna in Russia (finally crossing the European borders)! Not written in Russia, because I just didn't feel like it (sorry, laziness sometimes determines everything on a thursday afternoon 8 o'clock). Anna was looking for cards with 'tradtional clothes and meal' (seriously) on it: what better could fit than a beautiful card with the cheesemarket on it (and it just happened to be that I had one at home)!
2-9-10 to Aarne in freaking, f*cking Finland again (the previous Finnish one was really hard to write)! But, my first male recipient (uh.. sounds weird)!
How wonderful that he liked to receive a card with anything on it that's typical to my home region or home country: all kind of WILD animals and plants from the area I actually live in, nature, local life, historical and world heritage places!
Except for the WILD animals (I don't think the local cats are considered as wild, let alone being shown on a postcard) and the world heritage, my multiview card of my city met every preference!
5-9-10 to Piratemom (really) in USA!! Cross Atlantic!
5-9-10 to Lee Yang in CHINA! To an address which couldn't fit on the card.
5-9-10 to Sonja in Germany (that's nothing compared to China...)
20-6-11 To Pauliina in..... Finland!!!! (those Finnish people are really missing out on real life). She made a whole list on her profile on prefered cards and what card did I buy her? A yellow fluffy duck in an Easter Bunny outfit. 'ducs or ducklings, really or plastic' was part of her list. Because of the striking wishfulfillness, I couldn't bear to make the effort to write the card in Finnish.
(after receiving she wrote she was really happy with the card. The Easter bunny looked like a handmuppet she used in her class... she'll use this card in her class as well. Good teacher)
23-6-11: to Hoi Ping Tsai in TAIWAN!! (How on earth could two people call her daughter like that? 'Dear Hoi Ping...'). She likes art. I like the art of Hema. 1+1=less effort, BIG match on preferences ;)
(The address was, again, that long that I didn't know what to write on what line).
23-6-11: 10 cards was easy, I still have over 600 days to go, so I'm extending: from 10 to 25 cards!
