PROGRESS UPDATE
A goal of Ginseng Tiger on their Single Day Goals list with a status of Done.

I did it! I've been learning and practicing this week during down time at work. I had resisted looking up instructions because I thought I'd be able to just think really hard and be able to solve it. I think that would have taken me an eternity. I've probably had this cube for over a year.
I have always been able to solve one side and make the T-crosses in the right colors, but after that it was kind of a mystery. So now I memorized the algorithms.
Here is how I remember the algorithms:
1. Solving the second layer: Right is happy (turns start clockwise) and left is unhappy (turns start counterclockwise.
2. The top cross: I remember FURURF for some reason and then just do the opposite of that if I don't have the L shape on the top. First part is happy, second part is sad.
3. Lining up the top middle edges: RU RU RUU RU! Up is always happy and R starts out happy.
4. Moving the corners around to the right spots: URUL URUL. I just have to remember that the counterclockwise ones are the last two in the first URUL and the middle ones in the second URUL.
5. Orienting the corners: R2 D2, who is unhappy. R then D, R then D.
Anyway, I need to practice this a few more times this week and then space out the practice until I'm sure I remember it. But go me! It's done!
