5. Finish a book: It doesn’t matter if it’s a good book or no so good. Knowing I finished it gives me a very satisfying feeling. I just finish Harry Potter, and wondering what to read next.
6. Music: As long as i can listen to music, I can just be in my own world and be content
7. Socializing: I’m happy when I can interact and play around comfortably with other people.
8. Meeting new people: And knowing the possibility of having a new long lasting friendship.
9. This is cheesy & cliche, but cuddle up on a couch and watching a movie with someone you care about feels really nice.
10. Home-cooked meals: At one point in time, I got sick of my mum cooking the same dish for weeks over weeks. But when I went to college, I found how much I miss my parents’ home-cooked meals. Even if my dad tend to experiment by throwing random stuff into a dish, but I still miss some of his dish—even though I’m scare of them sometimes. Now that I’m home, I’m anticipating warm simple meals from my parents. They’re taking orders And of course, Mokie’s mum’s meals are delish as well. I miss her cooking, but I don’t want to be mooching off their food every day >.<
11. Dancing!
I like dancing. I’m not sure how people “dance” or how they define “dancing”. But when I’m dancing around in my room while no one is looking. It makes me feel happy. And silly. And goofy. And stupid sometimes, but it’s easy for me to brush it off and…just dance.
12. Collecting things: I guess I’m just pack-rat. I collect postcards, Bunnies related stuff, manga, seashells, coins. I can’t remember what else. But I know there are other stuff. Children books! and glass jars. I don’t know why, but when I see glass jars I get all excited. I guess that’s another thing that makes me happy.
13. Jars: So whenever I see glass jars, I think, Hrm, what can I put in here. I have two glass jars full of buttons. I use them to store small crafty items. They hold candies sometimes. Before, I used to have jars that hold paper stars, but i had to throw them out when we were moving. I think I kept the empty jars though.
14. Random notes/post-its: My roommate would leave random notes for me to find from time to time. I thought it was really sweet of her, and it totally makes my day. She once left me a note saying there’s something awaits me in the fridge. I checked the fridge and found that she had made me a lunch box to take to work. I almost cry.
15. Random acts of kindness: They don’t have to be big. But like I mention the things my roommate did for me. Those little things mean so so so much. It doesn’t have to take all that much time or effort, it’s the thoughts that count. Sometimes we get so busy with our lives that we over look the little things. But sometimes they can be the best part of our busy day.
16. Receiving a book as a gift.
17. Visiting random places no one care about during a road trip.
18. Being inside with my super soft blanket on cold days.
19. Cold weather.
20. Nice people: When I was getting off a free way, I saw a homeless man holding a sign asking for food. There was nothing I could do for him at the moment since I didn’t have anything on me. Suddenly there was a pair of hands sticking out of the car in front of me and handed the man 2 oranges. It’s not much, but I’m sure it meant a lot to the man. Seeing that made me felt all warm, fuzzy, and happy inside. Sometimes little things like that count more than the hundred of thousand of dollars people donated and we don’t see anything being accomplish with those money.
21. Eating in and enjoy a conversation with someone.
22. Hearing a song I like on the radio
23. Meeting up with old friends that I haven’t seen in years and be able to act like there was no time gap.
24. Doing random things in public and not care what other people think.
25. Singing my heart out during long drive.
