So I got the job, eventually, after much sweat, blood, and tears. It's not the most exciting job in the world, and it almost got axed six months later for budget reasons, but then it didn't, and I'm still doing it and it pays my bills. It will be awhile I think before my debt is all paid, but can't beat that steady income thing.
