Comparing each meal to my normal standard of cooking which is described by James as: Nom, Om-nom-nom.
We will use a scale from 1 to 10 to grade overall with 1 being: couldn't eat it/ got food poisoning, 10 being best thing I've ever eaten. 5 is a average meal that we ate but would add it to our rotation of meals.
1. Beef medallions, brie, red onion and garlic stuffed mushrooms with wilted spring greens.
Lisa: I really enjoyed this - but I eat a much smaller portion in general than James - 8/10.
James: Very rich, a bit much, half would have been lovelies - 7.5/10.
2. Fish katsu curry with rice.
Lisa: This was ok. Very heavy. Loved the spice. But there was something that made this stick to your ribs in an unpleasant way. 4/10
James: It was very dense. More to get through than it seemed. 6/10
3. Coconut and chilli chicken curry with mushrooms and rice.
Lisa:
James: (less) (less) (less)
