This is my first time having compiled one of these. My process was to go through each of the spreadsheets I have that are for a specific year and pull likely candidates into a single spreadsheet. That yielded a list of 6000 likely candidates. From there, I whittled down to a list of 5039. (5000 plus an additional 39 bubbling under items that are new discoveries for me).

I then roughly sorted the 5000 into a 1 to 5 rating scale...5s were between 1-1000, 4s were 1001-2000 and so on. I ran the top 1000 through Pub Meeple.

5 years of living means some new songs have become favourites (and that some former faves have probably dropped off). I plan on starting from square one on this.
