PROGRESS UPDATE

I just spent about 2 hours watching a documentary on the history of Exodus and other "pray the gay away" Christian movements. Watching the trauma and harm these organisations have and continue to cause to my community was deeply uncomfortable. Especially learning about how these organisations exploit queer people after brainwashing them into believing they are no longer gay and the fallout of those circumstances was truly heartbreaking. This may be a subject I need to table for awhile. I don't think I will be able to stomach this again any time soon.
