Note added to goal Visit Maddie in AL
Drove down after Nate and Sara's wedding! So much fun! Lots of good photos!
worn to Nate and Sara's wedding and again later that month at a black tie event - John Marks "fashion for life" show - had a great time getting all dressed up with friends from COG! And the event was amazing - very classy.
Note added to goal Visit Nashville
Nates wedding! Amazing place - can't wait to go back.
Basically all of Nashville was spend doing things I thought I would hate (Nate's wedding excluded.) I figured I would hate the Country hall of fame (and I pretty much did) and the honkey tonk bars - but those weren't bad. (a nice Aussie boy made it better.) As cheesey as it sounds - it was great though spending time doing things my family was so excited about. Nashville is a great town and I would love to visit - I would just keep the "country" things to a minimum. The singer song writer bars we amazing!
1.) "Reclaiming the 'L' Word: renewing the curch from its Lutheran core" completed 2/21/2011

What a great book. Very short and a "quick read" but I tried to not buzz through it but instead treated it more like a nightly devotion so it actually took me almost a week to finish it. Really got me thinking about where COG is going and where the Lutheran church (and Christianity in general) is going. Very forward thinking and inspirational. I would recommend it to all. (and I plan on it.)
