Aug 2023 - MJ the Musical
I aim to go to at least 10 different theatres this year. So far I have been to the following and saw the following shows:

A Midsummer Night's Dream
Sorry for the poor photo quality, I had to use my phone as I forgot to put the memory card in my camera!
This was an absolutely joyous play, and because it was outdoor theatre we took some camping chairs and a little picnic!
I was worried it was going to rain, but the sun stayed, giving a warm glow over the stage as it set through the play, and when it finally hid under the horizon, the stage set twinkled with fairy lights and added a bit of magic.
The play was performed by an all male cast called The Lord Chamberlain's Men (exactly like in Shakespearean times) so I thought that that was also pretty cool. They were great actors and brought so much energy into this comedy.

In the London Westend, saw the brilliant Lion King! What a wonderful show. Very very very well done.
Booked tickets to see The Lion King in the West End, London. I have wanted to see this for years.
