Currently, I understand JJ speaking to babies, his basic simplified vocab and repetition. I understand some children's books. I have a good 40 verbs down, but I don't remember how to conjugate much of anything past present tense. My listening skills are weakest, my reading skills are strongest. Oh, and I don't really know how to cuss.

Dec. 22 - I use Spanish often at my job. I need to learn better listening skills. I'd better get on that Rosetta Stone!
Spanish language
Spanish or Castilian (español or castellano in Spanish) is a Romance language in the Ibero-Romance group that evolved from several dialects and languages in the northern fringes of the Iberian Peninsula during the 10th century and gradually spread through the Kingdom of Castile, becoming the foremost language for government and trade in the Spanish Empire. Modern Spanish developed with the Readjustment of the Consonants that began in 15th century.
