Finally got round to eating at Cockadoo in Nuneham Courtenay.
A bit disappointing really. Food was decent but not exceptional, but service was dire. Don't think we'll head back.

Then, this weekend, sampled the food at The Horse and Groom in Caulcott. Hearty meals, simply served. Bit of a downer to discover the steak and ale pie was steak and kidney- yick!! Worthy of a second chance though I think. Log fire and decent beers. (less) (less)

Muddy Duck in Hethe was lovely. Good beer, good food. Will make sure we book a table in the restaurant next time, rather than eating in the bar, as it looks amazing.
