1) having people in my life that embrace my quirkiness
2) when I'm doing dishes and I wipe my hands off on a really soft towel
3) moments when I don't feel like I should be doing anything instead of what I'm doing (ex. I shouldn't be doing crafts because I need to clean the house)
4) when I can make someone else smile or think because of what I said or did
5)when I feel like I'm a part of something
6)when I told a waiter that I couldn't eat the bread because of a food intolerance and the restaurant gave me a plate of sliced vegetables so I would still have something to nibble on. just the fact that they gave me that much thought instead of not serving me bread like most places would.
7) the library. that so many communities have access to so many books, movies, events, etc. for free!
8) that feeling I get when I'm trying out a new idea or something different and feel like its brilliant before reality sets in and I start worrying about all the ways it could go wrong
9) that woman I had a knitting class with before I had surgery who barely knew me but still sent me a get well card
10) my friends who give me memories of chasing a wheelchair down a hill, singing hit me baby one more time, and many others who get me and care about me
11) my family who give me support especially my parents who are always there and let me talk to them about things
12) the teacher who dragged my wheelchair (with me in it) up a flight of stairs because for some reason the elevator wasn't working and he wanted me to feel Included
13) watching movies and TV with my sister
14) eating a really good meal
15) watching a movie or TV show that I really like as an event not because I have nothing better to do
16) when I get to talk to someone about a movie TV show or book that we have both seen
17) when my mom tells me how much she enjoyed the book I recommended
18) when there is an active fan base for a TV show that make fanvids and gifs and have discussions
19) when a series doesn't with an unhappy cliffhanger and never get renewed
20) when I'm really tired and my bed is already made and ready for me to crawl into it.
21) when I'm learning something and I get that "now it all makes sense" feeling
22)when I'm teaching a friend to crochet and after many failed attempts they finally get it
23)when I read a book series in order and understand all the references
24)when I get someone a gift and they really appreciate it
25) reading about people who have done something with their lives and thinking if they can do it I can too!
26) lying down on the grass and looking up at the trees and sky on a nice day
27) watching someone watch a TV show I've already seen
28)listening to a really good song
29)knowing you have some food already prepared and you just have to take it out of the fridge
30) the excitement of an upcoming event
31)having had so many different experiences and meeting so many great people that helped me along the way(teachers, guidance counselors, etc..)
