The pesto didn't really stay purple, but it was very good! I feel like the Dark Opal Basil gave it a...idk how to explain it *rounder* taste instead of a sharper taste that the green basil usually gives. Tossed it in some linguine pasta and put some capers and lemon. Ooof, now i'm hungery again.
Made a birthday cake for my dad's 69th birthday! It's not as pretty as I wanted it to be since the weather was so hot and the icing was melting as soon as I put it on the cake! It still tasted very good though ^-^
