I'll mark this as done now. I work steadily with translations, there is no real reason to think I will get less books to translate in the foreseeable future, and I make more money than I have done in previous jobs.

Resigned from my newest job as well, as one of the biggest publishing houses in the country have said they will give me as many books to translate as I can manage!
I am a full time translator now!

I had an offer of a new part time position with 10% higher wages than the one I had, and then I spectacularly resigned from my old job, telling the boss what an incompetent leader he is.
