I got it! I got the contract I am supposed to have, at least forone of my authors. That means 50% extra pay for 3 books, at least 😀

I get full payment for one of the authors I'm translating, yay!
Not automatically the terms that members are supposed to get, for everything, but it's a step in the right direction. And the publisher is decent enough to also adjust the payment I've received for the 2 first books by said author, which means I can expect extra money in my account in a few weeks (less) (less)

Softening the blow by saying they will do their best to keep me with assignments so that I get predictability, and also introduce me to other departments and segments (which may pay more).
