Joined last week and released my first book on Saturday in a hotel lobby in Nashville. Book was picked up by the next morning. Travel well!
Initial progress: have an old account I can already use, a neat location in mind. Once I finish this book that I want to pass on, I just need to drop it off and document it on the Book Crossing site!
Finished 8/27/14. I gave my book of American short stories to Morgan Araldi. Hopefully it will travel some. I want to continue using this website and maybe make it a little more popular in this area. I really enjoy the concept of a giant worldwide network for sharing books of all kinds.

BookCrossing (also BC, BCing or BXing) is defined as "the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. " The term is derived from bookcrossing. com, a free online book club which was founded to encourage the practice, aiming to "make the whole world a library.
