Sutjeska National Park
Sutjeska National Park is a national park located in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republika Srpska entity. It is Bosnia and Herzegovina's oldest national park. It is famous as the site of the Partisan victory over the German occupying forces in a World War II battle and there exist several stone monuments commemorating the event. The park is about 175 square kilometres of in size. The park is home to one of the last two remaining primeval forests in Europe, called Perućica.
