8.6.15 - Alex & I just booked a hotel room in Key West for August 15th!!
8.15.15-8.16.15 -- We had a wonderful time!! Had delicious dinner & breakfast, saw a beautiful sunset at Mallory Square, walked around with drinks in hand, hit a few awesome bars (Pac-Man & chess included), went swimming, and finally visited the Hemingway House with all the 6-toed cats. The house & grounds were beautiful and the tour gave me a new found respect for Hemingway as a dedicated, diligent, and disciplined author rather than just thinking of him as a boozing/hunting/macho man who wrote macho man stories. Seeing his writing studio where he wrote 70% of his works over 8 years was definitely the perk.
