Rosie's 25th birthday party was a murder mystery tea party. Tea Time Travel - the Earl Grey Murder investigation - #teaandcakeANDdeath - I wrote a murder mystery for 21 players, from scratch, by myself, entirely. Which was hard work (but honestly less difficult than I thought it would be, and I would totally do it again), and one of three birthday gifts to Rosie this year. It was a resounding success, I think! I had made very few logistical errors (left out a crucial piece of info for one character), got good feedback for next time, everyone had fun, & about 40% guessed the killer correctly, which I thought was excellent odds. The tea party part was a huge success as well, with copious quantities of cakes, sandwiches, pasties, macaroons, and other assorted goodies of various kinds, and several varieties of tea, all served in dainty, pretty china to guests dressed to the nines. I think everyone enjoyed the party, and the birthday girl loved it all. Happy 25th, to my beloved little sister. <3
