So....last week Anjie reached out to me and asked me to join her in working the Half Time for the 2015 Super Bowl. I would have normally said no to something like this because it was a lot of time and out of my norm...but I leaned in and went for it. And it is going to be awesome! I can't believe the opportunities that we (I) miss when we think of all of the reasons NOT to do things rather than leaning in and doing something awesome!
This was almost done as an afterthought...but it was the most amazing time! I had been thinking about my #52in52 all day and wondered what I could do quickly on the weekend...and I was just sitting down to dinner with a friend. I had a moment of "brilliance" and ran around the house like a crazy person gathering all of the candles, putting on some nice music and turning off all the lights. And then we sat down to eat...
and it was amazing!
Because it was out of the norm and off the cuff a bit, we had such a great conversation! I love that one of my own personal #52in52 "tasks" involved someone else AND deepened my relationship with that person in ways that couldn't have been planned.
I am excited about getting into the next one!
