Another loan today. This time to Naseem Bibi, from Chah Motian, Lahore.

Naseem makes fancy yarn which is used for jewellery, mostly necklaces. The money she earns from this helps her husband in paying towards their domestic finances.

Naseem wants to increase her family income since the low income forces the family to compromise on many of their basic needs. The loan will help her family to have a better quality of life.
I have tickets for October!
I made elderflower gin on 12th June, 2017, and I made elderflower cordial on June 7th, 2018. Both were delicious!
A day on the Norfolk Broads, Wroxham.
Sadly I'm not going to get to do this. The exhibition ended in Feb 2018, so I've missed my opportunity. I'll do something else Harry Potter related instead.
Lampshade has been found, it's not exciting but it's nicer than a bare lightbulb!
A plan is afoot...
January 2018, I went to see a chap called Ryan Gooding.

Carmen Cecilia Nero
Another loan made today, using £30.00 from repaid loans.
Carmen Cecilia Nero is 40 years old and lives in an area known as Motupe Alto in the city of Loja in southern Ecuador. She has four children, three of them are already independent; only her youngest daughter is living with her and attending the local school. Doña Carmen works as a seamstress. She makes made to measure new clothing including t-shirts, skirts, shirts, sweaters and trousers as well as offering customers repairs and alterations. Doña Carmen works from home. Most of her clients are people living locally. She started her business around ten years ago when she received her diploma in dressmaking and she managed to buy a second-hand sewing machine. Her business has grown over the years. She now has six types of sewing machine with different functions. Doña Carmen estimates her earnings at around $550 per month on average. She requested a loan to buy threads, zippers, fabric and other accessories. However, most of the loan will be used to re-model her sewing workshop, this includes plastering walls and ceilings and making the area better to work and more attractive for customers.

A teeny tiny bit, but a start to my sea glass collection none-the-less
I can't complete this challenge as I've had a blood transfusion, my husband has offered to take up the challenge on my behalf.
For my birthday, with Rebecca, Paul, Gillian, Henry, Emma and Isla at Framlingham Castle.
I made a Malteser cheesecake, which he loved!

I made a Malteser cheesecake for my husband's birthday in June and then made it again for Christmas Eve in 2017. It's delicious, and easy to make!
Another loan made today. £30 to Luis Enrique Morales of Ecuador. He makes high quality leather handbags and purses, and employs his sister and sister in law. He wants a loan to buy leather and materials in bulk.

It's impossible not to take a lot of photographs!

Obviously there were hundreds of bees buzzing around

Two different types of lavender

The colour and smell made this a truly memorable experience!
This farm was beautiful, a small scale farm, not at all commercialised. It was utterly charming, and intoxicating.
This was so enjoyable. I went along to a clean up I'd discovered on Instagram. It was Southwold beach, Suffolk, organised by Adnams Brewery.
I'd never thought of Southwold as having a litter problem, and largely it looks clean. But when you started looking you saw small pieces of litter, usually plastics. I found drinks straws, used shotgun cartridges, small pieces of rope and string (plastic), wet wipes, bottle lids, popped balloons... after a few hours of litter picking we had gathered quite a number of bags of rubbish.
They have another clean up in the autumn, to clear up after the busy summer season, and I'll be going along again.
First loan made on June 6th - £30.00 to Mrs Ol Pol, a 57 year old farmer in Cambodia.

This is where I will be going - https://www.suffolklavenderfarm.co.uk/

May 11th 2017. I made a bee drinking pool, and planted some lavender but I want to add more plants that will attract bees before I mark this goal as complete.

This was May 11th 2017. Maybe next time I won't wear wellies to climb - something I wouldn't recommend!

This was in our garden, and I couldn't go very high, but I'm in a tree none-the-less. I'm hoping to find a large tree when I'm out and about, with branches low enough to allow me access.
I filmed on May 18th, and now I just need to edit the clips together. Any recommendations on simple editing software, and editing tips would be gratefully received!
