Osteoarchaeologist who loves lists. Apparently I did this 10 years ago and completely forgot about it. Let's do it again!

15/15 - Coco dress with dancing skeletons
1/5 : Six By Sondheim
I'd say the christmas dinner for work counts as it was at a castle (covid safe, yes) and it was buffet style with so much food that I could eat until I wanted to puke. And also put some caramels from the dessert table in my pockets.
5/15 - rainbow t-shirt for Kylo
6/15 - Honeycomb dress
7/15 - summer dress for Alicia
8/15 - TLC Caftan
9/15 - striped button front skirt (tea dyed)
10/15 - striped linen/nylon envelope dress
11/15 - psychedelic envelope dress
12/15 - bug shirt for Kylo
13/15 - red Sointu tunic for Nova
14/15 - blue button front skirt

... yeah this has been the summer sewing basically. My instagram is now a sewist instagram, so I can't be bothered to make separate entries for all of these! Not counting the wearable Honeycomb toile that needs a NSA, nor the base for the robe I'm going to add scraps to, even though it's technically a finished garment and is wearable. Nor am I counting the shirts I've made for Boris, since he is a cat.

Trying out the Sew Hayley Jane classic box... fabric and notions! My weakness!

But with Brexit I can probably only do it until December, which is sad.
I don't know if they are perfect, but as close as I have been able to get. Comfortable, real leather, pretty... yeah. The Lundhags Heritage Chuckas will do.
7/7 - blue cotton from mom's collection, no idea how long it was there before it was in mine. Made a button front skirt.

Boris is a good boy that feels super weird to pet
Back to henna!
5/7 - stormy Ralston cotton made into a Honeycomb dress for my birthday
6/7 - striped Ralston linen/nylon mix made into an envelope dress
Visited Dalby Söderskog - Sweden's smallest national park!

Dyed a skirt I made from an ikea duvet cover with earl grey tea! Got a nice vintage feel to it now.
Star Wars trivial pursuit via video call with Jenny
I made the Honeycomb dress from CocoWawa Crafts!
2/3 - using an overlocker properly
4/7 - some kind of strange linen or linen-like-cotton blend (threads going in one direction were slightly elastic)
4/15 - simple short sleeved kaftan-ish dress from a busy patterned fabric liften from mom's basement storage. (no picture yet)

3/15 - shirt based on old fashioned pattern construction. Linen or cotton blend with wood buttons. Flat felled seams.

3/10 - "Beautiful on the Outside" by Adam Rippon
3/5 - Onward
4/5 - Trolls World Tour

Added some vanilla sugar, otherwise stuck to the recipe. But they didn’t “melt” like in the picture. Very basic, quite underwhelming cookie.
2/5 - Frozen II
When this challenge started, the Goodreads count for 2020 was at 5 books already. But that will make for easy calculations later using the GR challenge counters for 2020 and 2021.

I do include picture books in my GR challenge and therefor also in this. But not board books. That's where the line is drawn.
Followed SassyMasha's tutorial on how to curl my hair overnight in a way that's comfortable to sleep on.

(also followed her ASMR recipe for kotletki earlier)

A double weave linen from the Ralston deadstock store. A Swedish designer selling off her own leftover fabric. Very small place.
The shop is up and running, but only with 6 items and no header image. So I don't count this as done yet. I need to get all the necklaces in there as well as take pictures of the earring, and of course make listings. I can run it without a header though.
1/5 - Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse
I started at 10 min a couple months back. I've pushed it to 16 min at the most. And keep upping the level (resistance I guess?) every few weeks to keep at a steady burn but still be able to push just a little further.

All the cacti were put in the same pot! And my big ficus was stabilised and gives some more soul. The small ficus gets to stay as is. As will the plant in the Bulbasaur planter. And that’s it. I don’t have that many plants!
2/10 - "I Am C-3PO: The Inside Story" by Anthony Daniels

Grandma’s rye cakes!

2/15 - Gathered midi skirt made from half of a saree. Patch pockets, one single seam (in the back). Invisible zipper installed in French seam. No hem, just the natural selvedge of the embroidery. Cotton/nylon mix maybe? Not great quality fabric/embroidery. But I’m very happy with the result. Simple construction but I was meticulous with the details.

1/3 - long sleeved, super long coat from the opera Lakmé made into a knee length sleeveless coat to be worn indoors.
3/7 - green saree that parents brought home from India many years ago. Never used as a saree, but now I could use it as beautiful fabric and make something very wearable. Still have a lot left over though.
1/3 - installing an invisible zipper in a French seam. Separately I can do them, but I've never attempted to combine them until the saree skirt. I love both techniques separately, so I'm very happy to be able to combine them.

котлетки - Russian chicken patties
1/7 - Used very old fleece (two colours!) and left over tablecloth vinyl to make two seating pads for when dad and I go hiking. I’ll count that as one fabric though. Since it’s such a minor project and basically all leftovers (the fleece was at least partly left over from making hats 15 years ago)
2/7 - used most of the butterfly knit from Ralston that I got early summer 2019. One butterfly left but almost all surrounding fabric got used up. So I guess I can use the leftovers for a big appliqué at some point.

1/15 - Japanese inspired knit jacket/cardigan with ¾ sleeves and a hi-low hemline. Made from deadstock fabric bought last summer.
Went to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch in Swedish at Hipp!

Added carrots and some oregano to the base recipe. And just used normal spaghetti cause I couldn’t find vermicelli.
Italian Chicken Soup from my Pasta cookbook. Made from chicken stock, cream, chicken breast, canned corn, and pasta. I also added carrots and seasoned it with oregano. Couldn't find vermicelli so just went with normal spaghetti. Turned out yummy!
Visited a small part of Kulturen during the tattoo expo. I’ll likely visit again during this project/challenge. And I have worked there so it’s not like I don’t know a lot of what’s there already.
At least two major garments (so not just a dress and be done, at least add a homemade petticoat if so), an accessory, necklace, and earrings. Underwear, shoes, and additional minor jewellery excluded.
1/10 - "Diamond Doris: The True Story of the World's Most Notorious Jewel Thief", by Doris Payne
1/5 - "The Art of The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien" ... way too dry and academic. I love me a good map, but someone describing the minute changes between different versions gives me nothing.

It’s very basic but it’s there. I’ll add more things as time goes by.

3/3 Renaissance art.

Yeah this goal got finished very quickly. I’m in such a puzzle mood.

2 of 3. Photo Session.

Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit. Played with Janel and I won, but it was a pretty close game.

Skrylle, a 5km hike to break in the boots properly. Wanted to do the more terrain one but just five meters in and it was flooded.

(this is the place I keep going back to because it's easy to get to, and easy trails even when the weather is bad)

1 of 3. Funky Zoo.
The art print arrived today. I need to find a frame and candle holder to create the bare bones of a shrine. I guess I can put my little 3D printed BB-8 with it too.
I don't do wine or cheese, but in the same vein. Maybe all the different kind of gummies from a specific candy brand, or different brands of the same kind of snack or beverage.
That is to say, not deadstock websites that most likely sell intentional overstock from factories. But small batch businesses selling their own leftovers, or the opera house at their wardrobe cleanout.
Already visited the Sedlec Ossuary. Does the stupa at Choeung Ek count? I have also been to the PAris Catacombs as a child but I need to go back.
By this I mean things like invisible zipper, french seams, sleeve gussets etc. All of which I have already done.
I'm just starting out. It will be very short hikes to get me going. But not just a stroll. Hiking boots and a backpack with water and snacks! And in woods or other away-from-city nature places.
this is very much a longshot, but my Someday list is my life bucket list, so I thought why not. I'm not an author, at least not yet.
