2/6/17 - actually not a pothos, but Carswell is still alive. He has a couple of brown leaves from when he got dried out, but overall seems healthy.
After working my way all the way up to a proper pixie cut, I'm satisfied. And after a couple of months trying to maintain this length, including getting it dyed dark brown, I want my long hair back.
Realistically, this may never happen....
Completed 1/3/16 - It was only $0.50, but I'm counting it. I was behind an older lady (tall and slender, yoga pants and a slim jacket). The librarian told her she had a 50 cent fine. The woman looked confused and asked what it was for: an expired hold on some heart disease books. The date they expired was included, and the woman looked solemn. "Oh, that was a bad week," she murmured. She and the librarian spoke softly while she started digging in a pocket for change. I had my wallet out and quickly found 2 quarters. I stepped forward and tapped her arm. "Here."
She looked stunned and thanked me when I insisted, then as I stepped back promised to pay it forward.
I wanted to tell her I knew something of bad weeks. I wanted to tell her it was because of the books she had requested. I wanted to commiserate with her over the way life gets in the way of picking up library books, no matter how badly we may need them.
Instead, I gave her a mean 50 cents and a reason to smile, and that's enough.
Only added two items I had space for, halfway through process. Successfully dressed from a capsule wardrobe for over 3 months.

Back to square one.
Bin ordered 9/22/16. Ordering worms when bin arrives.
Trial run successful. Wardrobe set and started September 1st, 2016. Have to go at least to the end of November, but everything would work through February or March.
Trial run August 2016. Official attempt begins September 2016. Minimum duration: three months. If I'm superhuman, would like to keep this one through February 2017.
First attempt: August 2016. Does not include the odd ice cream cone. Failed because of Taco Bell.
First Attempt: July 2016 - $150.00 to spend (including food, gas, clothing, shopping, and pet supplies; not including regular living expenses)

On the road trip?

It was a small thing, but I taught a bunch of the kids at VBS how to "braid" their felt bands. We had a little club in the grass while children careened around bouncy houses and other inflatables.
First, define "nice". If it qualifies, try the grill down the road.
Note: Naturally does not include letter to favorite author.

Possibly with money from No Spend Month, to track training for 5K.
Possibly upgrade to a double.
Attempted with my short hair, a round brush, and a blow-dryer. No go on the first try.
Need to get a jar and a plan for how to spend this at the end. Maybe put toward items for my own house?
Subaru Outback or VW Passat
Mom is not thrilled about this. I said "Detroit to Seattle" and she hummed and said, "I don't think I want to know about this."
Got a "pixie bob" courtesy of Mom. First impression: what on earth do I do with this?
Must be completed apart from a No Spend Month.
Attempted 6/18/16 - The librarian helping me was super nice, but we were having trouble understanding each other. I'll try again later.
Route 10 from Detroit to Seattle
Showing my coworkers how to use a computer does not count.
