done! My library sent me a link to the ecard and I was able to check out my first kindle book. I definitely had wanted to read Radium Girls. now that I am about 150 pages in, I am super glad I borrowed it, not going to be giving this a 5 start rating...
So glad my tax dollars do support the local library!

Well, I had a library card, and somehow, I lost it! I remember vaguely having some kind of a bad experience with one of the librarians, and like, not going back to the library- so me... I found a form online that said I could activate a card - so I filled it out, my address is different now- but even though it said I would have info within 24 hours, I do not. So we will see. I want to link up my kindle and borrow, I am also considering joining another library for digital material that is 27.00 a year. Kindle unlimited is 60 a year and I am... meh on it. I just feel like I might be giving Amazon more money and then not having a decent selection. As I typed this, I did also just realise that having access- does not mean every book in the collection is borrowable by kindle.

I went to the main library and picked up my card. I only considered this done once I actually borrowed a book. After 3 attempts I was able to checkout an ebook and actually read it. (I realized that I’m not very techy)

Due to Covid19 the library was closed. However, they've just added a temp card that can be converted into a permanent card once they reopen. I filled out my application this morning.

Received my library card on Friday by the post
