Not gonna lie. This was a difficult, but completely rewarding challenge. And I made new friends doing it! Yay!

Two more chances, Nov 2022 and Nov 2023

Halfway through the month and I'm doing my usual NaNoWriMo fail. I'll be honest, I'm horrible at time management, mainly because I want to do all the projects! I just don't have enough time to daily do everything, not to mention my need for "nothing time" where my brain just processes the world. Being neurodivergent isn't easy in a neurotypical world, but I manage.

In other news, I'm happy with the way I'm building my NaNoWriMo story this year. I'm still focusing on the same idea I've had for several years now, but I started from scratch on writing it. My method this year is allowing me to explore different avenues from different perspectives easily. It's giving me plenty of space to work with new ideas, and easily directing me to where my research needs to go to make the story believable. Even though I doubt I'll finish again this year, I think I've figured out a method to work with my ADHD rather than against it. With that, I'm hoping this will help me keep writing on it through the next year rather than waiting for November each year. (less)

It's day 1 of NaNoWriMo. The most I've ever done in a month for this is 10K words. Let's see if I an hit the 50K mark this year. I'm hoping Thanksgiving planning and hosting doesn't burn me out. That's what usually happens, so I'm going to plan to get more done earlier and see if that helps. Wish me luck! (less)
