Bilbao
Bilbao is a Spanish municipality, capital of the province of Biscay, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country. With a population of 355,731 as of 2009, is the largest city of its autonomous community and the tenth in Spain. It is the head of the Greater Bilbao, a conurbation with over 900,000 inhabitants that runs along the Estuary of Bilbao. Its main urban core is surrounded by two mountain ranges with an average elevation of 400 metres.
