Never thought I would be able to do this, but it's being offered through my union. I'm enrolled online for a medical coding certification. I'm not looking forward to either being in school or to my future career, but I'm very much looking forward to some financial and career stability.

In 2012, age 32, I started an Access to Higher Education course at my local college. I am now finishing up a degree in English Literature and in a couple of years I will start my masters in English Language Teaching.

I took an evening carpentry class. Learned a lot actually.

Not sure if I can mark this completed, but I go back on 1/12/15. I have officially registered for classes and made the downpayment on my tuition. Yay!

Registered for my first course in Continuing Education on April 19, 2010

I will do this if/when the Western Illinois Quad Cities Riverfront campus opens in Moline. Until then, all local schools are wayyyy too expensive.
