I signed my partner and I up for a Glass Blowing Class and we made our own glass pipes. My pipe is on the left. It's slightly deformed. The class was very fast paced. I want to go back and take a basic class with my daughter. I was amazed how easily glass melds in fire, and how quickly it hardens once you take it out of the fire. I had this fear in the back of my mind that it was going to shatter. It is definitely a skill not to be underestimated. A skill which I would like to master at some point.

Went Glassblowing at the Hot Shop Glass in Racine. It was such a wonderful experience and we had a great instructor in Amanda above. Her patience and sense of humor definitely made the experience. Can't wait to display my final product. In this photo, I'm making the design, pulling the colors and then also swirling for a beautiful pattern...
