Kickapoo State Recreation Area
Kickapoo State Recreation Area is an Illinois state park on 2,842 acres (11.50 km) in Vermilion County, Illinois, United States. The name may come from the Kickapoo village that once existed near the meeting of the Salt Fork and Middle Fork branches of the Vermilion River. Kennekuk, after whom Kennekuk Cove County Park was named, lived there. There is a cemetery within the park called Allhands Cemetery.
