8.9.15 -- Alex & I rode bicycles to the Holocaust Museum. It was very difficult to not cry during the group tour, but I kept it together and cried once it was just Alex & I in the room. There is a plethora of memorabilia including multiple accounts & documents from local survivors, which was moving and eye-opening. They also have a room with numerous arm bands, from the different yellow stars of David for Jews from different European countries to the different roles and rankings of Nazis, including the red Nazi arm band which I have from Pap-pap (my grandfather who fought for the Allied forces in WWII). Glad we finally went... and glad the sun was shining when we left!
