Sauble Beach, Lion's Head. Sat on a bench to stargaze and saw the milky way, north star, and two shooting stars! Unforgettable night after hiking the Lion's Head Bruce Peninsula Trail.
Other highlights of the day included:
Flesherton Diner (breakfast)
Rachel's Café (50's diner)
Lighthouse/beach (witnessed a family release a sky lantern)
Seeing the north star, Ursa Major/Minor
Taking photos on the roof of the car
Live country music/party
Dancing (woman pulled me in, I dragged OM on, potato dance, guy clapping, belt dance)
Mike/Yvonne, beer

saw it near the big dipper at the mumford & sons show.
14-08-2011 Saw shooting star at 11.55pm, part of the Perseid Meteor Shower 2011.
I had never seen a shooting star before and I'm 18 !!
