I started volunteering to help people learn my mother tongue in early November, and would like to also volunteer in a creative field involving music. Another option could be an animal shelter, but the people coordinating the shelter in my area are quite rude towards anyone showing interest in this field. I don't know why.

Quarterly or so I go out and about the neighborhood picking up litter. Litter happens to be my pet peeve, so if I can clean up a bit, it makes my regular walks that much better. I know it's not volunteering through an official org, but I'll count it!
