I need a volunteer, my soul says so..

Helped at a 5k race.

I started volunteering to help people learn my mother tongue in early November, and would like to also volunteer in a creative field involving music. Another option could be an animal shelter, but the people coordinating the shelter in my area are quite rude towards anyone showing interest in this field. I don't know why.

Volunteering with TIPNW

Quarterly or so I go out and about the neighborhood picking up litter. Litter happens to be my pet peeve, so if I can clean up a bit, it makes my regular walks that much better. I know it's not volunteering through an official org, but I'll count it!

With COVID-19 shutting everything down, there are lots of kids struggling with homework while homebound. Offered via Facebook today to essentially do my Homework Help Center volunteering from home.



We'll see if I get takers...

I currently volunteer once a week for a homework help center through my local library and once a month at a food pantry.



This would probably be me doing 1-10 "one time only" volunteer projects.

29/02/2016 - Child Sponsorship pack received from SOS Children's Villages with details of a child in Estonia.

12/19/15 - Filled Christmas bags for the needy at church. I also put my name in for volunteering at a couple different places but haven't had any opportunities yet. I deem this goal done!
